In the event of rain, grass fields
which are water saturated, have standing water,
or large muddy
areas on the playing surface, should not be played on.
Grass Fields that are frozen, have snow on them, or are in heavy
frost conditions, should not be played until surface conditions
have thawed and drained.
If the city makes the decision to leave a field open--or to
allow user discretion--
it is up to the referee to decide whether
the field is playable or not.
Please
DO NOT call us asking if the fields are open or
not.
It is the teams responsibility to
frequently
check the 'THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULES'
for
updates.
Please be aware that drinking of
alcoholic beverages is not permitted at soccer fields or at any other public
places. Teams found guilty of such an offence will be heavily fined and may not
be permitted to use fields allotted to the VMSL.
